How secure are the generated passwords?

Passwords are generated using the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator (Web Crypto API / window.crypto), which produces true randomness suitable for security purposes. A 16-character password with mixed characters provides approximately 100 bits of entropy, making brute-force attacks computationally infeasible.

What makes a strong password?

A strong password is at least 12-16 characters long, uses a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters, contains no dictionary words or personal information, and is unique — never reused across different sites or services.

Are the generated passwords stored anywhere?

No. Password generation happens entirely in your browser and the results are never transmitted to any server or stored. The generated passwords exist only in your browser session. We recommend copying them directly into a password manager.

Should I use a password manager with generated passwords?
