Welcome to Atelier Tools ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website at ateliertools.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

By using Atelier Tools, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Atelier Tools provides browser-based utility tools for developers, designers, and general users. These tools include but are not limited to: code generators, converters, calculators, image processors, and text utilities.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any output generated by our tools
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Warranties that any code, data, or content generated will be free of errors, bugs, or defects

You acknowledge and agree that any code, calculations, conversions, or other output generated by our tools should be independently verified before use in any production, commercial, safety-critical, or important application.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ATELIER TOOLS AND ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

This limitation applies to damages arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in tool outputs
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
  • Any unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any reliance placed on the accuracy or completeness of any output from our tools
  • Any other matter relating to the Service

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

Output generated by our tools may be used by you without restriction, but we make no claims regarding the originality or intellectual property status of such output.

8. Pro Subscriptions

If you purchase a Pro subscription:

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws

9. Data Processing

All tool processing occurs in your browser. We do not store, transmit, or have access to the content you process using our tools, except where explicitly stated (such as bug reports you submit).

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
